What format of design files does Siedery accept for quotation?
In order to provide accurate and timely quotations, we currently only accept 3D CAD files in STL, STEP or IGES format. Files must have complete manufacturing information and can be emailed to us.
How long does it take to get a quote after you receive the drawings?
Normally, we will give a quotation within a few days after we receive your drawings. If there is a problem the quotation will be delayed while we will contact you promptly to communicate the solution.
Does Siedery have a price advantage over other suppliers?
Comparing to European and American suppliers, Siedery’s injection molds and CNC machined/3D printed parts are typically 30-50% less expensive.
How long will it take for me to get my parts?
If the 2D and 3D CAD models you provide to us are correct, parts can generally be completed in as little as two weeks. Some parts that require special features or are more complex will take longer. So it is required that your supplied drawings are accurate.
What types of surface treatments does Siedery offer?
We can provide finishes for metals, textures for plastic injection molds, paint for metals and plastics, and much more. You can also learn how to specify the surface texture you want in our blog.
Can Siedery help me create design drawings?
Yes, we do offer design services in terms of 2D and 3D CAD drawings, we also provide design review services, but customers need to pay for those work load.
Is the delivery time in working days?
The general delivery time is measured in calendar days. Of course, it can also be set according to the actual terms signed by both parties.
What if I am not completely satisfied with the parts I receive?
We will guarantee our materials and workmanship in strict accordance with the terms of the original order between the parties and the information you provide. Our continued business depends on earning your trust in our ability to meet and exceed any reasonable expectation.
